Care: The best way to preserve your Recon Boots is through regular and correct polishing. Water, heat and wear remove the natural oil from the leather, so when the tiny fibres dry out they become hard, brittle and break easily, thereby shorten the life of the leather. For our leather boots we recommend any natural shoe polish found at your local store. After a long day in wet conditions and you requiring your boots early the next morning, the worst possible solution is to artificially dry your boots. Leather fibres burn easily – especially when wet and therefore should never be left near a heater, placed in your oven or left in direct sunlight. For the best results, footwear should be dried out slowly and never subjected to any extreme heat. Should you work in constantly wet conditions, it is best to alternate between two or more pairs of our Recon Boots. (Included 1 x Free 125ml Jim Green Leather Bees Wax)

Really impressed by the construction, durability and attention to detail of the Recon boot. Currently being worn as my everyday boot, replaced the inner soles with softer hiking inner soles for added comfort on longer patrols. Also included a tub of leather food which is neat.
There are many shoes on the market, I have searched and tried many... The Razorback with the flat sole for me is definitely the ultimate shoe. These shoes can handle the most rugged terrain, flat sole, so mud can easily be removed and extremely comfortable from day one. Highly recommended. Outback Trading delivered outstanding service and I received my boots within 3days.

My first impression of the boots was very good, the red stitching looks great and the double stitched leather to sole is always a sign of durability. I usually brake in new boots over a longer time period, but this pair took about 8 days. After the brake in the boots are extremely comfortable and have become my “Go To” pair of boots.
